God can direct us through the world, and through our experiences of life, but bottom line is to fear God and keep his commandments. Keeping on is so important. Pain does not j...Yes. Keeping on is so important. Pain does not justify surrender to defeat. We must continue to reach out to each other despite risk. I don't happen to feel good when I do good things. Typically, I feel worse because doing good puts me in closer contact with the pain others' carry. One doesn't do good for reward (as you say "no good deed goes unpunished").
